REPORT OF INNOVATIVE WORK - 1

               
                                                      My first innovative model was based on food web.

            MATERIALS REQUIRED
                                   
                                   THERMOCOL
                                    PICTURES OF PLANTS AND ANIMALS
                                    CHART
                                     COLOUR PAPER

              PLAN OF EXICUTION

                 PART-I- Stick the pictures of the plants and animals in the thermocol without any particular order.
                 Group the students in to IV and ask them to make a food web of there own.
                PART-II-Provide a chart with defenition of food chain in a hidden format and also some hidden questions to find out the answers based on the food web which is created by the students.some additional information for students were also provided in a hidden format for the deeper understanding of the concept.
         
                                        

                             REPORT OF CONSCIENTIZATION PROGRAMME

                                  As part of the B.Ed curriculum the students teachers were asked to conduct a conscientization programme in the given school.based on this i and four members of my team of St Goretti's H.S.S have selected the current burning issue "MOBILE PHONES AND SOME DANGEROUS FACTS with the aim to aware the students more about the hidden traps of using mobile phones.   

                                    

     OBJECTIVES

                     

                       1)To develop an awareness about the pros and cons of mobile phone.

                       2)To make an aware on the health issue that can be caused by the over use of mobile                                 phones.

                       3)To make the students aware about the hidden traps in internet usage.

                       4)To make an understanding about the value of time.

                       5)To make them aware on the role of mobile phones in creating road accidents.

PLAN OF ACTION

                  We a group of five student teachers including my self Anju from english optional,Tintu from english opotional, Aswathy from physcical science optional and Parvathy from social science optional discussed on the different aspect of the topic and based on that we devided the topic in to five.On 20th january 2018 at 9.30am to 10.15 am we conducted the programme.

            i)introduction(pros &cons)-Handled by Anju

            ii)mobile ohone and internet abuse-Handled by Tintu.

            iii)mobile phone and health-Handled by Archana 

             iv)mobile phone and road accidents-Handled by parvathy.

             v)mobile phone and wastage of time-Handlrd by Aswathy 

CONCLUSION  

                     Through the conscientization programme we hope that the students got a better understanding about the topic mobile phones and some dangerous facts.They are provided with a sufficient knowledge on the health issues, internet abuse, road accidents etc.we hope that the students reflect the gained knowledge in their lives and the society.

                                              REPORT OF INNOVATIVE WORK -II
  
                                      My second innovative work was based on FERTILISATION OF PLANTS.


      MATERIALS REQUIRED

                   Drawing book,form sheet,chart papers

            PLAN OF ACTION

                 PART-I
                       Students were provided with a travelogue book which contain the journey of pollen grain in a travelogue format which describes pollination,types,the male and female reproductive part of a plant and fertilization.

                  PART-II
                         Based on the travelogue they read some questions were provided and the answers were also provided in a jumbled order on clue box near each questions. Each student has to read the story and should answer the questions by arranging the jumbled letters correctly on the space provided.
                 .

                      WEEKLY REFLECTION OF 8th AND 9th WEEK

                    These are the last phases of the teaching practice.I took my innovative lessons and conscientization programme and also filled up the questionnaire for my project work.The rest of the lesson plans were completed.The teaching practice were ended very happily on 23/01 2018. 

                                                 WEEKLY REFLECTION


                           The seventh week of the internship was started on first monday 2018 and ended on 6th saturday 2018.I completed my five lesson plans in  this week. Two lesson plan for standard nine and three lesson plan for standard eight.

                                  WEEKLY REFLECTION

                   The sixth week of the internship was started on 18th december 2017 and the rest of the days in the december were christmas exams and followed by christmas holydays.I dont have any class in that week.

                                                WEEKLY REFLECTION

              The fifth week of internship started on 11th monday 2017 and ended on 15th friday.This week i get only one class on the 8th standard.The others were dropped due to assembly and other meetings.For my class i prepaired the chart and acivity cards for my lesson.i got adjustment hours for managing the UP Session.
